Subramanya : Killed Naxal Identified as Yellappa from Raichur ?

Subramanya, Sep 7: The suspected Naxal gunned downed by ANF personnel during combing operations at Baaginamale reserve forest near here early morning on Wednesday September 5 has been reportedly identified as Yellappa alias Dinakar from Raichur.

According to Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh police, he was active in Naxalism from last 6-7 years. It is learnt that AP and TN police too wanted this Naxal.

However, Karnataka police is still to recieve official information from TN and AP.

ANF IGP Alok Kumar has still not confirmed the identity of the deceased Naxal suspect.
