Kasargod: PF Activist, Panchayat Employee Arrested for Possession of Deadly Weapons

Kasargod, Sep 8: Two persons, including a panchayat employee were arrested by Adooru station circle inspector, S Satish Kumar and his team, after conducting raids at three houses in Bovikkana Baladka. A country rifle and many other deadly weapons have been seized.



 
The arrested have been identified as gram panchayat employee, Abdul Khader (50), resident of Balanadka and his relative, Zafar (24). Police sources have confirmed that accused Zafar is secretary of Popular Front, Bovikana unit.

Another two, Zafar and Latheef are absconding and are booked for criminal offence. District police chief, S Surendran, the PCI Satish and his team conducted raids at Khaders house after receiving information from genuine sources.

Police have seized an unlicensed rifle which was hidden under Khader’s cupboard. As per the information received Zafar’s house is also said to be raided, where they have seized other weapons as well.

The Popular Front, Bovikana Unit was inaugurated nine months ago. Zafar was chosen as the secretary of this unit. The police have told that the raids will be continued.

Investigation is on and more information is awaited, said the police. The police have obtained information regarding the manufacturer of seized rifle, police sources confirmed.

    is it pilivesha bandook or real one, and this curtain rods and fish cutting knife you will find every coastal side houses and soome of our mogaveera brothers has 10 to 15 such knives in thier house to cut big catch from the sea,

    Possession of illegal arms is illegal,and possessors intentions are doubtful, arresting is must !
    At the same time, police must be having information of all groups involved in violence, Police should periodically raid all such groups for possessing weapons without any bias.

    If Police raid RSS related Houses will get more explosive materials,They captured some of steel rods from old bikes, rusted fishing knifes and ajjana shaikari Bandook.(These are unused items ). Why they are targeting only Muslims,Indian Police/ Government till that not banned even single non Muslims groups like bajarang dal, Rss, Nava Bharath sene,I think they dont have guts to do it. They only target poor people or the system is involved to target Muslims like America.

    I agree with your comments. All organisations that preach, practice, preach and spread hate, devision and violence irrespective of their faith, beleif and ideologies must be eliminated forever. All the organisation you called them as patriotics are equally spreading hate/venom and devision must also be eliminated. PFI and CFI have taken birth to counter the terrorism of RSS and ABVP. Newtons third law of motion is more practical and appropriate. Every action has equal and proportionate opposite re action..You too shall have sleepless nights my friend...

    We are all Indians and do we need such organisations in our country??? Start treating all Indians as equal and bonafide citizens of this great country. All Indians are patriotic and we dont require people like you to certify us. When mother India calls for the sacrifice, we minorities will outnumber you people in protecting our country...

    Now a day, everybody fights for their cause in the name of religion but these weapons do not know whether innocents gets involved in these kinds of fights belongs to which community!!! This is the reason why people hate PFI or CFI. They still believe in violence though we got freedom through non-violence method finally. Now several forums and NGOs’ will come forward and condemn the actions of Kasargod Police by saying that these weapons are meant for animal butcher only but not for killing human beings. Even Sunjay Dutt argued in the SC that AK47 rifle he kept in his possession to scare rioters but not intend to kill them!!!
