Mangalore: Pratiksha Hejamadi Qualifies for National-level Karate Championship

Mangalore, Sep 13: Young Pratiksha N Amin Hejamadi, a rising karate star, has qualified to represent the state at the national-level karate championship to be held later this year.

An SSLC student of Mulky Sri Narayana Guru English Medium School, Pratiksha qualified for the national-level championship after securing the second place in the state-level tournament held in Bangalore recently.

She also stood first in the taluk-level tournament held in Kinnigoli, organized by Mangalore public education department.

The national champion will be held this December.

Pratiksha is the daughter of Nithyananda, a Hejamadi resident and school teacher Rajeshwari.
