Mangalore : Jossy D'Souza (22) Succumbs to Injuries

Mangalore, Sep 13 : Jossy D'Souza (22) who met with an accident near Vittal on August 6 last month, succumbed to injuries in High Land Hospital on Thursday September 13 morning.

Considering the financially poor background of the family, and the seriousness of injury, daijiworld had published an appeal to help Jossy with his hospital treatment, upon request by the family.

But family sources confirmed to daijiworld that he passed away on Thursday morning.

It may be recalled that on August 6 last month Jossy who was riding pillion fell off the bike after the rear tyre burst. Unfortunately another bike which was coming behind ran over him, causing him severe injuries.

Daijiworld thanks all those readers who responded positively to this appeal and offered financial support, prayers and moral support.

This is a real sad situation, two wheeler's have claimed a lot of lives of our youth. May his Soul rest in peace. This reminds me of my Mom asking me why seat belts were worn in the Car's, I said it was for safety. We were travelling in a Auto Rickshaw where she said that richshaw's were the ones which needed the seat belt. Now I think after this incident even bikes need seat belt's.

I am so sad to hear the sad news of Jossey's death. I just transferred some financial help to his mother's bank account and I am so disappointed that my help cannot be used to keep him alive. I know, God must have thought its right time for him release Jossey from all the physical and mental pain and take him in to his grace at heaven.
