Kasargod: Abandoned Baby Finds Shelter at Malappuram Child Welfare Society

Kasargod, Sep 15: A new born baby that had been found without any guardian at the Mogral Puttur Prayer centre, few days ago, has been handed over to the Malappuram child welfare society.

The baby was under the care of the nurses of the Kasargod General Hospital. The baby was handed over by Kasargod Child Welfare committee president, lawyer Maniyamma to Malappuram Child Welfare society’s B K Subadhrakutti, Afsath and others.

Hospital head, Dr Narayan Naik, Paediatric specialist, B Narayan Naik, Suma A Nair, Mohammed Bashir and others were present.

The baby was found abandoned on September 10 evening at the Panjigugge prayer centre, mogral Puttur. As per the information of the locals, the police had sent the baby to the general hospital.
