Kundapur: Driver Escapes with Minor Injury as Buses Collide

Kundapur, Sep 15: Two private buses, Mahadevi and Nandi Motors collided head-on at Hemmady on Saturday September 15 at around 9 am.

The Mahadevi bus was plying from Kundapur to Gangolli while Nandi Motors was moving towards Mangalore from Byndoor.

The driver of Mahadevi bus luckily escaped with minor injuries.

The incident took place on the national highway, where the condition of the road is said to be pathetic.

A case has been registered in the Kundapur police station.

    John, that's good suggestion. i appreciate that. thank u. but imagine, when everybody knows, 30 minutes it takes to travel on 3 kilo meter distance,what a harsh driving must have been, by these drivers. if bus is really slow such collision cannot take place. i also wish that govt broadens this road.

    Arun, good joke If you seen that road, u will get out of the vehicle and walk. It need 30 min to travel that 3 km road. Better tell govt to fix the roads
