Kundapur: Miraculous Escape for 8 as Truck Rams into Car

Kundapur, Sep 16: Eight people travelling in a Tavera car had a miraculous escape when their car was hit by a truck head-on at Mullikatte near Trasi here on Sunday September 16.

They were travelling towards Byndoor while the truck was plying from Goa to Mangalore.

The accident occured at around 4 pm when the truck driver Vilas Lokre (27) allegedly lost control over the vehicle and rammed into the Tavera head-on.

Speaking to Daijiworld, Tavera driver Suresh said that it was a miracle that he and others in the car escaped unhurt. He blamed the truck driver for the incident.

A case has been registered in Gangoli police station.
