Need Only Public Backing to Become CM Again: Yeddyurappa

Haveri, Sep 16 (PTI): Senior BJP leader B S Yeddyurappa today said he did not need the support of party central leadership but only required public backing to become chief minister once again.

"I don't need the support of party central leadership but require only public backing to become chief minister once again," he said at a public rally at Hirekerur, 30 km from here.

Yeddyurappa said if he became CM again, he would make Karnataka a model state in the country, adding, "some leaders within the party conspired against me to bring me down from the chief minister's post".

Referring to 'Operation Lotus' launched to increase the BJP strength in the Assembly, Yeddyurappa said the party resorted to it for the welfare of the state.

"Without Operation Lotus, BJP would have lost. JD(S) or Congress would have ruled the state which could have not augured well for the state," he added.

Recent NDTV Survey and National survey shows that Yedurappa is still strong and popular person among public, most of them think he has been unfairly treated, compared to other politician regardless of party, he has been targeted, when there are several corrupt ministers Ex CM's, central minister's have royally looted state and national wealth, most of them having account in Swiss banks. Every politician is corrupt some more than Yedurappa,
The survey also shows 82% people believe that BJP will loose massive votes if Yedurappa walks away from BJP, it also shows that most of the public want Yedurappa to form his own regional party. It is only fools believe Yedurappa doesn't have public support. Survey also shows 52% believe BJP in Karnataka is more corrupt than Congress.

Unfortunately people of Karnataka are losers supporting such corrupt and greedy politicians.

BSY,day by day keeping BJP workers @ curious and this fresh statement clearly indicates that his body is in BJP but heart is not!The man who built BJP brick by brick and from Muncipality member to Member of parliament for BJP in Karnataka is looking for auspicious time to give TALAAQ to his mother party.He point blankly appealed to the people on N.Karnataka to install Farmer's govt rather than BJP Govt!!!(list also included JDS and Congress)Before Assembly election to Karnataka,there could be polarization of political activities and powerful blocks to defeat ruling BJP!!
