Mangalore: Student Technical Paper Presentation Contest Held at SJEC

Mangalore, Sep 17: The electronics and communication department of St Joseph engineering college organized an inter collegiate student technical paper presentation on September 15, at the Fr Fred Memorial Hall at 9.30 am on the occasion of the Engineer’s Day celebration.

Swetha N, assistant professor, electronics and communication welcomed the dignitaries.

The contest was inaugurated in the presence of Fr Ajith Menezes, assistant director SJEC, Dr Rio D’souza, vice principal SJEC, professor B V Nityananda, HOD electronics and communication department SJEC, Mahaveera K, assistantt professor NMAMIT, Nitte and Dayakshini, assistant professor SJEC.
 
There were a total of nine teams with contestants from colleges like, Sahyadri College of Engineering, Srinivas Institute of Technology, Srinivas School of Engineering, Nehru College of Engineering, Alvas Institute of Engineering College and SJEC

Mahaveera K was the external judge and Dayakshini was the internal judge for the student technical paper presentation contest.

Farsana K A and Fathima Burhana S, from Nehru College of Engineering won the first prize. 

Shazia Lowna and Bavya Kamath K from Sahyadri College of Engineering won the second prize.

Prasad S M, assistant professor, electronics and communication department. proposed the vote of thanks.
