Mangalore: Shop in Car Street Flower Market Catches Fire

Mangalore, Sep 17: A shop located at the rear end of the flower market in Car Street caught fire on Monday September 17 at around 4 pm.

It is said that the shop belonged to a person identified as Bhaskar.

Short circuit is said to be the reason behind the unfortunate incident.

Fire brigade was pressed into service and after battling for an hour, the fire was brought under control.

The extent of loss is yet to be estimated.
