Kuwait: GVOM 3 Semi-finals - Countdown Begins as Guest Artistes Arrive

Kuwait, Sep 19: Gulf Voice of Mangalore -3 Kuwait judges Ivan Sequeira, Babitha D'Sa, comedians Jerry Rasquina, Joseph Pinto and compere Uttam Menezes arrived in Kuwait on Tuesday September 18 at 8 pm and were received by the organizers of GVOM 3 Lawrence Pinto, Louis Rodrigues, Rita Rodrigues and Wilson Saldanha. Daijiworld.com founder and editor-in-chief Walter Nandalike is expected to arrive on Wednesday September 19.

Twelve contestants are all set for the terrific competition of the season 3 'Gulf Voice of Mangalore' – Kuwait chapter. GVOM is a mega Konkani singing talent hunt show by Youth Recreation Center, Kuwait which has already showcased two astonishing shows to date.  GVOM 3 is all geared up to host the semi-finals on September 21 at the American International School auditorium from 5 pm.

In addition to the competition there will be entertainment by guest artistes Ivan Sequeria, Babitha D’Sa and the local artiste Joylene Gonsalves and Gladys Lorena. Jerry Rasquina and Joseph Pinto are all set to provide the audience a good laugh with their humour. Foot-tapping dances by local artistes and live music by Kuwait's famous Konkani musicians under the baton of Kiran Gonsalves will add a dash of colour to the event.

One male and one female finalist from Kuwait will be selected on this day and they will be participating in the grand finale to be held in Doha, Qatar, on October 19 for the coveted title of GVOM 3.

Started in 2008, Konkani singing talent hunt show Gulf Voice of Mangalore is the biggest Konkani reality show in the Middle East. The main aim of this competition is to bring out hidden singing talents and give them a platform. Both GVOM season 1 in Kuwait and season 2 in Dubai created sensation among Mangaloreans worldwide. Kuwait's singing talents have previously won the titles of GVOM Season 1 (Vinay Lewis), female title winner of GVOM Season 2 (Gladys Lorenha) and also male runner-up (Warren D’Souza) of GVOM Season 2.
