Kundapur: Two Injured as Speeding Car Hits Bike

Kundapur, Sep 20: Two people were injured today after a speeding Indica car hit the Pulsar they were travelling on, near the KSRTC bus depot. While the two riders of the motorcycle lay injured, the driver of the car sped away.

The injured have been identified as Nithin Kumar and Basava Poojary, residents of Kodi. They were admitted to Chinmayee Hospital Kundapur. Both are said to be out of danger.

They were returning home at around 2.30 pm when the accident occurred. It is learnt that the speeding Indica car under Tamil Nadu registration, plying towards Udupi hit the bike from behind.

As per RTO officials, they were informed of the accident from the spot. The injured have denied filing case.
