Mangalore: Home Stay Attack - Chargesheet Filed Against Accused

Daijiworld Media Network – Mangalore (VM)

Mangalore, Sep 21: In connection with the July 28 attack on Morning Mist Home Stay in Padil, police on Thursday September 20 filed a chargesheet against the accused in the junior magistrate first class (JMFC) II court.

A detailed investigation on the incident was carried out by T R Jagannath, assistant police commissioner and by rural police team for about one and a half months, after which the chargesheet was filed in the court.

It is learnt that reports on the various stages of the incident have been obtained and so far all the main accused have been arrested.

The chargesheet has been filed as per high court’s order which asked the officials concerned to submit the details within 15 days.

So far, 24 have been arrested in connection with the case, including mastermind Subash Padil.

All the arrested are under judicial custody. The first additional district and sessions court had earlier denied bail to the 20 of the accused.

One look at the pictures of these goondas published show that they are not decent moral police but opportunist goons. Even their own community is heaving a sigh of relief as they are behind bars, since they were able to celebrate the Ganesh festival with devotion and without extortion and forcible collection of funds. Hope and pray they will be punished duly so that in future people will think twice about moral policing and taking the law in their hands and harrassing the general public and especially the youth in particular.

Like Ravi B. Shenava, M're pointed out, without these goons, Ganesh Utsava went on very well, without these captured goons and their extortion activities.
See the difference!! If they were there during this time, people would not have been happy, as they create different atmosphere.
DP,RS,NG,  (paddu) and few others here should realise, how much difference it makes to your people during these important and holy celebrations.

CAN YOU PROOVE TO THE COMMENTATORS WHERE DID KASAAB WAS FORGIVEN BY THE JUDGE OR BY THE PRESIDENT.CAN YOU?!

His death sentence was upheld by the Supreme Court. Now he has mooted his mercy petition to the President Pranabda.

Of course if these goondas plead guilty of their crime before the Judge by apologizing to the victims and offer some compensation as damage control to the victims then the Judge may consider their case to warn and acquit. Not otherwise.

Hitting women is wrong I agree, but what about the nature of these sort of illegal activities ? The Homestay didn't carry valid licence & so was penalised. The funny thing is that media covers only a portion of the news. I wonder if these many people, would they wish any of their relative or known girls to go to such parties ? Condemn all immoral activities whether hitting or such parties, & don't be one sided.

I totally agree with jeevan, Definitely all of them should get bail. They are all not hard core terrorists. They may make mistake of hitting girls. That means its not a end of road to them. Let the legal proceeding begin. High court already orderd an enquiry of the roll of journalist. They are the real culprit in this incident. If they informed the police timely, this incident is avoided. This incident opened so many parents eyss. They will now think twice before they sending their son or daughters to thease types of so called sexual b'day parties. After the court proceedings i think owner of the Morning Mist, and b'day boy photo also will add in the above list

Masters are roaming freely in expensive cars and enjoying all the luxuries and amneties at the expense of tax payers funds and at the exploitation of their servants...Indian caste system and those who are on the top of the caste system are insturmental in deviding the society. They want to cling on to the religious places claiming that they are chosen by God to serve God and they should be served by low caste people. What a systamatic effort.
