Udupi: Gas Agency in Manipal Gets Threat Call from Bannanje Raja's 'Aide'

Udupi, Sep 21: A gas agency at Manipal on Thursday September 20 registered a complaint stating that it received a threat call from a person who claimed to be an associate of underworld don Bannanje Raja.

Sources said that the person who called said that he was an associate of Raja and asked for the owner of the agency. The call was picked by the receptionist.

As per her statement, the person had made a threat call to the landline on September 18 and 19 stating that he would kill the owner if he does not call him back.

It is learnt that the person spoke in Kannada.

A case has been registered at Manipal police station.

    Underworld have their infrastructure,Hierarchy,Concept,Strategy and Network. it is a downward communication.Do not neglect threat call.Cops intervening will sort your problems,issues. Bcoz everything goes hand in hand.

    Reputation of the gas agency as Prabhu highlighted ... May be Yes. Yes these distributors are harrassing the customers. Monopoly has spolied them. Lot of fake underworld dons are loitering around. Yes the sellers and buyers are getting attention these days. If unchecked it will be a law and order problem. Just like gold smugglining in 70s and 80s Real Estate is becoming the centre of gang war activity.

    pl check if the gas agency owner has recently purchased or sold some Land in and around manipal.... this must be the after effects of the same

    Why not Police finish off with these rowdy callers and extortionists? Very existance of such elements over a long period gives rise to a doubt about percentage of collection to police?????

    This purported telephonic threat call may be fictitious and mischief played by any of the aggrieved customer of the gas agency whose service is not satisfactory or doing malpracticing in gas distibution which is rampant nowadays,creating inconvenience to local consumers.This likely possibility for sure.
