Mangalore: Naxal Letter to Media Condemns Yellappa's Killing

Daijiworld Media Network – Mangalore (NM)

Mangalore, Sep 23: In a letter to a media channel, the Naxals have condemned the killing of their comrade Yellappa following an encounter between the Naxals and the ANF a few days ago.

The letter, a copy of which is with Daijiworld, is signed under the name of Gangadhar of Karnataka State CPI (Maoist) party.

However, SP Abhishek Goyal said that Gangadhar who is known to be a Naxal is in jail, and hence the letter may have been written by someone else. "We are investigating the matter," he added.

The letter condemns the killing of Yellappa alias Dinakar, and states that he had supported the masses against eviction from Pushpagiri National Park in Subramanya area. The letter demands punishment to Puttur sub-division ASP M N Anuchet and all other 'culprits' who are responsible for the killing of their comrade.

The letter attacks both the central Congress-led government and the state BJP government alleges that they are conspiring with 'transnational corporate monopolies for looting the natural and forest resources and accepting huge bribes'.

Alleging that the BJP government is trying to suppress the 'people's rage against eviction by all fascist means, the Naxals have stated they aim to 'Expose the evil designs of Karnataka Chief Minister Jagadish Shettar and Home Minister Ashok to decimate the Maoist movement through the fascist onslaught using reactionary armed forces...”

The deadline given by the state government to Naxals to surrender will end at 6 pm on Sunday September 23. However, no Naxal has surrendered till now, and there are apprehensions that they may have made their escape by now.

This government and other mainstream parties are cursed on the normal people of this country. Big looters and criminals like Reddy brothers, Yedurapppa or Kumarswamy are free and they are looting nations wealth. Naxalism is the only answer left these criminal politicians and those so called upper cast of this region who are exploiting and taking benefit of this corrupt system

IF EACH PERSON GOES TIT FOR TAT OR VIOLENCE FOR VIOLENCE, WHOLE WORLD WILL GO BLIND. REASON FOR THIS IS HUGE GAP BETWEEN RICH AND POOR. THERE IS ENOF FOR MANS NEED BUT NEVER ENOF FOR MANS GREED. MOST WESTERN / GULF COUNTRIES HELP THEOR POOR. INDIA STANDS AT 192 RANK IN CHARITY WORK. MUSLIMS GIVE TEN PERCENT TO POOR. REST RARELY DO SO. IF AMBANIS OR SUCH RICH INDIVIDUALS GIVE (LIKE AZIZ PREMJI AND TATAS) WE WON'T HAVE POOR IN INDIA. PRAY FOR THEM AND HELP THEM. NAXALITES/ ROBBERS TO BE LYNCHED /KILLED BUT POLITICIANS WHO LOOT IN 100 CRORES ARE STILL FREAKING OUT. NEED MORE SUBRAMANI SWAMYS TO TAKE EVEN SONIA (BOFORS)OR MANEKA(MARUTI) TO COURT

Wherever Naxalism enters, the common man's living will become pathetic. Though they show themselves as protectors of poor man's interest, the practical part is quite different. Naxalist target mostly Police, & Rich People. Most of time once a poor man's mind is filled with its ideology, he leaves his home to wander in jungle, getting all the way the toughness of life, & becomes a permanent wanted person. Chandra Babu Naidu was one great person who during his tenure in AP, reduced the naxalists number to 30%, by the methords of strict police action on one hand & with rehabilitation scheme on other. The sadest part is that the Naxal leaders blow the youths mind & themselves live in a royal life in cities, & their children study abroad. The normal naxal cadre wanders in forest, opening risk to all hard atmosphere. Some of Media person as Gowri Lankesh acts as mouthpiece for this movement who speak in return for monetary gains.

The state should go to whatever extent possible to wipe out the naxal menace. Anyone who takes up a gun and challenges the might of the state needs to be decimated. In a democracy there are plenty of ways and means to fight for ones rights and in today's India we have a very strong media and judiciary that take up the rights of the people. These naxals are nothing but rogues and dacoits who steal from the poor people who they profess to fight for and we have some so called educated moron social activists who support them.

Naxal movement is resistance to corruption. But their ways and methods are aunacceptable. They should enter the main stream and politically fight for the rights of people. Violence and blood shed by both the govt and naxals is condemnable.
