Udupi: Chappal Attack! Lady Cop on Receiving End of Woman's Ire

Udupi, Sep 25: A woman was arrested for throwing her footwear at a lady cop in front of the police station at Padubidri here on Monday September 24.
The arrested woman has been identified as Pramoda hailing from Kadibettu. She was later produced in the court.
It is learnt that Pramoda had called police station asking for Santhosh who is a jeep driver. In response, she was told that Santhosh was not available and she should contact him on his phone.
Sources said that within 10 minutes after the call, a flustered Pramoda came to the police station and allegedly flung her footwear at Mamata, the policewoman. She reportely used abusive words and had even shoved her.
She demanded to know where the jeep driver was when the jeep itself was in the station premises.
A case is registered at Padubidri police station.
