Karkala, Sep 25: A one-day research conclave ‘NMReCon-2012’ is scheduled on Thursday September 27 at NMAM Institute of Technology, Nitte. 

A press release issued by the principal Dr Niranjan N Chiplunkar said, over 65 research scholars would come together to present their findings before the experts in respective fields and get further direction for the early completion of their work.  Dr B Subba Reddy, former scientist, DRDO, Bangalore will inaugurate the conclave and will deliver the keynote address. 

Dr Ashok Prabhu, former vice president, Sarnoff Corporation (RCA Research Laboratory) Princeton, New Jersey, USA will be talking about ‘Innovation’ in one of the parallel sessions.  There will be a panel discussion which focuses on planning for Ph D work later in the day.

Dr I K Ravichandra Rao, Dr B S Samaga, Dr Ashalatha Nayak, Dr Kumar Sham, Dr Ramachandra Murthy, Dr Chittaranjan Hegde, Dr Ayachit and other experts in various fields of science and technology will guide the scholars at different sessions to carry their work further.
