KCCCI Udupi Branch Inaugural on Sep 28, IFKCA to Honour 4 Teachers

Udupi, Sep 25: The formal inauguration of the Udupi branch of Karavali Christian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCCI), will be held on Friday September 28 at 6.30 pm at the Anantha Shayana hall, Hotel Kidiyoor here.

Addressing a press meet here on Tuesday September 25, Louis Lobo, president of the Udupi unit of IKFCA, said that KCCCI, Udupi, was started 8 months back but was not inaugurated formally yet.

There will also be a felicitation programme for teachers from various schools at Milagres College, Kallianpur at the silver jubilee hall. The felicitations will be done by Ronald Colaco, chairman (IKFCA).

Benedicta Mathias, from primary section, Alphonse D’Costa from high school section, professor Perdita Hilda Rodrigues, PU college section and Muriel Premalatha from special children’s school section are the teachers selected from various categories for the honours.

Prashanth Jathanna, senior vice-president, Dr Nery Cornelio, general secretary, Jerry Vincent, president of IFKCA were present at the press meet.

    Nice to read on felicitation to the menders of our present day children. Congratulations to all the award nominees. Personally I know Mr. Alphonse D'Costa and I recall the great memories when we worked together for CATHOLIC SABHA for many years [ I served as its Zonal Secretary for 4 years ]
