Riyadh : GVOM - Stage Set to Choose 'Voice of Arabia'

Riyadh, Sep 26: Following the historic success of Gulf Voice of Mangalore-2 semi-finals, Aangann Konknechem Riyadh is all set to host Gulf Voice of Mangalore season 3. The preliminary round was successfully held in Riyadh and seven male and six female singers were selected.

The semi-finals will be on Thursday September 27 at 8 pm in Riyadh to select the Voice of Saudi Arabia for the final round. Cultural entertainment will follow the competition. The judges and the musicians are arriving from Mangalore and the compere from Dubai. The grand finale will be on October 18 in Doha-Qatar.




Aangann Konknechem Riyadh is a non-profitable organization involved in promoting Konkani culture and language through various programmes in Riyadh. The association has also conducted several programmes to help the youth to promote their talent since its inception in 2007. Besides, AKR has been involved with several charitable institutions in Mangalore.

Bahrain : Gulf Voice Finalists - Tina D'Souza and Sydney Correa

Bahrain, Sep 23: It was Tina D souza who walked away with award for the female category for her scintillating performance with the song ‘Ahimsa’ composed my Melvyn Peris.
Sydney Correa’s super performance with ‘ chandrak pavoytalom’ the famous track of Melvyn Peris fetched him the top spot and award in the male category.
