Bahrain: Vishwakarma Seva Balaga Hosts Grand Puja Mahotsava

Bahrain, Sep 27: It was yet another memorable day for the devotees in the Kingdom of Bahrain, for Vishwakarmans in particular.

As usual, Shri Vishwakarma Puja Mahotsava was celebrated recently with devotion at Shri Krishna Mandir Auditorium, Manama; hosted by Shri Vishwakarma Seva Balaga, Bahrain for the third successive year.

Renowned astrologer, Vastu expert and gem-stone specialist Ashok Purohith, Mumbai led the Puja Mahotsava, much to the satisfaction and appreciation of his devotees.

The day’s proceedings began with Kalasha Pratishta by Purohith and guiding the president and committee members of the Balaga to light the lamp and initiate the programme. Shri Vishwakarma Stotra, Shri Kalikamba Stotra, Shri Lalithasahasranamavali and Shri Mahishasura Mardini Stotra were recited by the ladies wing. It was followed by devotional songs - Bhajans by the members and devotees, ably led by Rajesh Kodethur and Pradeep Acharya, Karkala. Vishwakala Vedi, a Vishwakarma group from Kerala also rendered melodius Bhajans, adding spice to the vibrant atmosphere.

At 1 pm after Mahapuja, Mahamangalarathi prasadam the devotees were served with sumptuous Mahaprasadam (Annasantharpane). Vishesha Puja Seva prasadam were distributed to the devotees individually by Purohith himself.
