Fourth Branch of Mangalore One Center Inaugurated

Mangalore, Sep 27: The inauguration of the fourth branch of Mangalore One, an integrated citizen service center was held at Surathakal, Mangalore. 

Gulzar Bannu, mayor, Mangalore city corporation inaugurated the set up in the city. Amitha Kala deputy Mayor; Harish Kumar Commissioner of City Corporation; Rjjani Duggana, former mayor  were present at the inaugural.

While briefing the media on side lines, Shashidar Saranganath , project manager, Karnataka One said “16 services are offered  in the Mangalore One programme like electricity bills, water bills, property tax, police clearance certificates and so on”

He also added that Mangalore One has already branched out to three other places in the city namely, Lalbagh, Kadri and BavuttaGudda.

These centers will serve the residents of Surathkal, its adjoining areas and other parts of Mangalore without any jurisdiction basis. The services will be available 365 days of the year from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm.

    Dear Mayor Gulzar Bannu congratulations for your great effort for setting up Mangalore 1 centres where people can pay all bills[tel/water/tax/elec] in one place.But please see that all counters are operating.Last time when i paid bills at Lalbagh centre there were only 2 counters working out of 8 counters and the people's standing line came out of the centre up to outside steps like ration shop line.Also 1 counter girl just went for a tea break and finally only 1 counter was working.
