Sharjah: Ferarites-UAE to Host Maiden Throwball, Volleyball Tourney on Dec 14

Sharjah, Sep 29: Ferarites-UAE, an association of parishioners of St Francis Xavier Church, Ferar on the occasion of 5th anniversary celebration of the association is all set to host its first ever throw ball and volley ball tournament at Sharjah Wanderers Club grounds on Friday December 14. The main objective of the tournament is to offer entertainment to the people residing in UAE and in the mean time support the charity causes back home.

The tournament will be conducted in the following categories:

1. Ladies Throw Ball Tournament - Seven-a-side
2. Gents Throw Ball Tournament - Seven-a-side
3. Gents Volley Ball Tournament

There will be raffle draw followed by closing ceremony. The winner and runner-up in each category will receive attractive cash rewards.

The rules and regulations will be explained /e mailed to the participating team managers/captains at the time of conducting match fixtures/draw one week prior to the commencement of tournament.

Interested teams are requested to register their teams by sending an e mail on or before October 20, 2012. The registration fee will be AED 250 which shall be paid along with registration form to the treasurer Leslie James Pinto (Tel: 050-6940717) once Ferarites-UAE accepts registration.

The organizers will serve free breakfast for the participating teams and lunch will be served for all the teams, invitees and guests.

Ferarites-UAE requests support of the participating teams to be at the ground at 8 am in order to facilitate the commencement of tournament at 8.30 am sharp.
