Mangalore, Oct 3: A mini tempo that is said to have been illegally trafficking a cow was stopped and handed over to the police by Bajrang Dal activists at Kulashekar here on Wednesday October 3.

It was alleged that a person by name Padmanabha had sold his 5-year-old cow to a person in Ulaibettu. The cow was being transported to Ulaibettu from Padmanabha's residence in Maroli.

Padmanabha was also in the tempo when the Bajrang Dal activists forcibly stopped it. The tempo, its driver and Padmanabha together with the cow were taken to Mangalore rural police station. The person who purchased the cow is absoconding. His identity is as yet unknown.

Speaking to daijiworld, one of the Bajrang Dal activists said that acting on genuine information, they stopped the vehicle near Kulshekar Dairy and handed over its occupants to the police.

Padmanabha said that he had sold the cow to a Muslim at Ulaibettu as the latter had told him that he wanted to domesticate a cow. He had asked Padmanabha to come in the tempo while he would follow in his two-wheeler. He is said to have escaped as soon as the Bajrang Dal activists stopped the tempo.

The tempo driver confirmed to Daijiworld that he had no connection with the person from Ulaibettu. "The person had hired my tempo and I agreed only after I came to know that Padmanabha too would be accompanying the man," he said.

Padmanabha, the tempo driver, the cow and the tempo are in the rural police station and search for the absconding man are on.

The whole drama is written and directed by jobless Bajjis here. They directed Purushottam to hire a tempo from a person belonging to minority. Inncoent tempo owner, not knowing the evil design, hired the tempo to Purushottam. Purushottam as directed by Bajjis loaded the cattle & in a place decided by Bajjis, they stopped tempo and d that the tempo owner absconded. The whole drama is to win the hearts of Hindus to clean Bajji's name spoiled by Home Stay episode. A flop show by jobless.

Dog is the best friend and faithful animal. Dog Protects his/her Master. But in India Dog has no respect nor value. They kill dogs and treat them like trash. There are working Dogs which help the blind, senior citizens, in the police force, in the military and also the first animal in space was the Dog "Laika" The Russian Space Dog. In India people kill Dogs as they do not understand the value of Dogs but only cow is sacred. If they think Cow is the mother than Dog is the father.

The central fact of Hinduism is cow protection. Cow protection is one of the most wonderful phenomena in human evolution. It takes the human being beyond this species. The cow means the entire sub-human world. Man through the cow is enjoined to realize his identity with all that lives. The cow was in India the best companion. She was the giver of plenty. Not only did she give milk, but she also made agriculture possible….....
Cow protection is the gift of Hinduism to the world. And Hinduism will live so long as there are Hindus to protect the cow…… Hindus will be judged not by their TILAKS, not by the correct chanting of MANTRAS, not by their pilgrimages, not by their most punctilious observances of caste rules, but their ability to protect the cow.

THE COW is a poem of pity. One reads pity in the gentle animal. She is the mother to millions of Indian mankind. Protection of the cow means protection of the whole dumb creation of God. The ancient seer, whoever he was, began with the cow. The appeal of the lower order of creation is all the more forcible because it is speechless.

Mother cow is in many ways better than the mother who gave us birth. Our mother gives us milk for a couple of years and then expects us to serve her when we grow up. Mother cow expects from us nothing but grass and grain. Our mother often falls ill and expects service from us. Mother cow rarely falls ill. Here is an unbroken record of service which does not end with her death. Our mother, when she dies, means expenses of burial or cremation. Mother cow is as useful dead as when she is alive. We can make use of every part of her body-her flesh, her bones, her intestines, her horns and her skin. Well, I say this not to disparage the mother who gives us birth, but in order to show you the substantial reasons for my worshipping the cow.

Cow slaughter Ban in Karnataka and building Ram Mandir in Ayodya are the two impossible laws that BJP always trying to bring out and always fail. There are more beef eaters in Hindu community compared to other minority groups. The one who rule are strong that is the reason the one who eat beef keep silent in the same community. This survey is done in Bangalore and it is 100% true.
We have this problem only in Mangalore out of entire 1200 million people of India.
I think only few thousand people in Mangalore think that , either they should be paid kick backs for the sale of beef or they should be remembered and called for a negotiation prior to the transport of cattle.I think Both ends meet at same. The state police has no shame to come immediately if the BD goons call them. The same police will come late or delayed for a emergency.

The early civilisation started with Agnostic Theist that slowly transformed to Spiritual Agnostics and over the period of time the evils in the society overtook the good spiritual value in people. During such time a number of individuals were assigned a special mission by God as to guide humanity to revive spiritualism in waylaid people.
The world’s oldest religion has no beginningit precedes recorded history. It has no human founder. It is a mystical religion, leading the devotee to personally experience the Truth within, finally reaching the pinnacle of consciousness where man and God are one.
The Aryan priests who had totally misused the Brahman religion and amassed huge wealth, property and beasts in India.
They slaughtered cow, calf, horse and buffalo for meat as sacrifice as well as other valuable materials like grain, ghee, milk as offering to gods. These priests invented hundreds of new rituals and rites from the birth to death of all Hindus and sucked them. As a protest, new religions like Jainism and Buddhism have immerged and totally dominated the sub-continent India and Far-East. During such time Swami Adi Shankaracharya and other likeminded learned Hindus reformed and revived the fading Hinduism. They removed all the powers from the Brahmin priest communities and made them lead simple life, eat only vegetarian food and treat cow as sacred animal.
Sometimes confused with theology, the Philosophy of Religion is the philosophical study of religious beliefs, religious doctrines, religious arguments and religious history. The line between theology and the philosophy of religion isn't always sharp because they share so much in common, but the primary difference is that theology tends to be apologetical in nature, committed to the defense of particular religious positions, whereas Philosophy of Religion is committed to the investigation of religion itself, rather than the truth of any particular religion.

    @ Sulthan,

Don't spread facts that you are not aware of. hindus are intellectuals. Hindu saints were so strong in their language that they would say something in literary way. You are normal person who would not able to understand. let me take your point one by one
1.Rigveda (10/85/13) s, “On the occasion of a girl’s marriage oxen and cows are slaughtered.”
Fact: The mantra states that in winter, the rays of sun get weakened and then get strong again in spring. The word used for sun-rays in ‘Go’ which also means cow and hence the mantra can also be translated by making ‘cow’ and not ‘sun-rays’ as the subject. The word used for ‘weakened’ is ‘Hanyate’ which can also mean killing. But if that be so, why would the mantra go further and state in next line (which is deliberately not translated) that in spring, they start regaining their original form. How can a cow killed in winter regain its health in spring? This amply proves how ignorant and biased communists malign Vedas.
    2. Rigveda (6/17/1) states that “Indra used to eat the meat of cow, calf, horse and buffalo.” (translation by Avatar Gill and group)

Fact: The mantra states that brilliant scholars enlighten the world in the manner that wood enhances the fire of Yajna. We fail to understand from where did Avtar Gill and his friends discover Indra, cow, calf, horse and buffalo in this mantra! Also, there is a word "Gavyam", which are five in numbers according to Aayurved-cow's milk, curd, butter, Mutra and Apashisht. Where does the flesh come into the picture? Mantra clearly says that the king should be well built through Saatvik bhojan like Ghrit, so that he can defend his country and kill the monsters.

I can give explanation for each but have space and time constraint.

Bajrangi going against their own religion.

Manusmriti (Chapter 5 / Verse 30) says, “It is not sinful to eat meat of eatable animals, for Brahma has created both the eaters and the eatables.”

Maharishi Yagyavalkya says in Shatpath Brahmin (3/1/2/21) that, “I eat beef because it is very soft and delicious.”

Apastamb Grihsutram (1/3/10) says, “The cow should be slaughtered on the arrival of a guest, on the occasion of ‘Shraddha’ of ancestors and on the occasion of a marriage.”
Rigveda (10/85/13) s, “On the occasion of a girl’s marriage oxen and cows are slaughtered.”
Rigveda (6/17/1) states that “Indra used to eat the meat of cow, calf, horse and buffalo.”
Vashistha Dharmasutra (11/34) writes, “If a Brahmin refuses to eat the meat offered to him on the occasion of ‘Shraddha’ or worship, he goes to hell.”

Hinduism’s greatest propagator Swami Vivekanand said thus: “You will be surprised to know that according to ancient Hindu rites and rituals, a man cannot be a good Hindu who does not eat beef”. (The Complete Works of Swami Vivekanand, vol.3, p. 536).

Adi Shankaracharya’ commentary on Brihdaranyakopanishad 6/4/18 says : ‘Odan’ (rice) mixed with meat is called ‘Mansodan’. On being asked whose meat it should be, he answers ‘Uksha’. ‘Uksha’ is used for an ox, which is capable to produce semen.
    · The book ‘The History and Culture of the Indian People’, published by Bhartiya Vidya Bhawan, Bombay and edited by renowned historian R.C.Majumdar (Vol.2, page 578) says: “this is said in the Mahabharat that King Rantidev used to kill two thousand other animals in addition to two thousand cows daily in order to give their meat in charity”.

What are the license or permit required to transport this cow..What does the law says as I don't want to get into trouble by these BD goons.

THE USUAL DRAMA BY BD. NOTHING NEW. THEY ARE GOOD ONLY FOR THIS JOB. IT IS HIGH TIME THAT THE NEW POLICE COMMISSIONER DEFINE WHAT IS LEGAL AND WHAT IS ILLEGAL AND WHOSE JOB IS IT TO CATCH COWS. THIS IS CREATING TOO MUCH NUISANCE IN THE SOCIETY. OTHERWISE THE POLICE FORCE WILL BE USELESS IN MANGALORE.

Suppose if I buy a cow for domestic use I can not transport by tempo?
That means I have to take it by walking all the way.

It is time to use only milk powder.

India has 30 per cent of the world's cattle. There are 26 distinctive breeds of cow in India. The hump, long ears and bushy tail distinguish the Indian cow.
Here cows are everywhere! Because the cow is respected as a sacred animal, it's allowed to roam unharmed, and they are pretty used to the traffic and the rhythm of the city. So, you can see them roaming the streets in towns and cities, grazing unmindfully on the roadside grass verges and munching away vegetables thrown out by street sellers. Stray and homeless cows are also supported by temples, especially in southern India.

Cows form the core of religious sacrifices, for without ghee or clarified liquid butter, which is produced from cow's milk, no sacrifice can be performed.
In the Mahabharata, we have Bhishma saying: "Cows represent sacrifice. Without them, there can be no sacrifice…Cows are guileless in their behaviour and from them flow sacrifices…and milk and curds and butter. Hence cows are sacred..."

Bhishma also observes that the cow acts as a surrogate mother by providing milk to human beings for the whole life. So the cow is truly the mother of the world.

Of all gifts, the cow is still considered the highest in rural India. The Puranas, ancient Hindu scriptures, have it that nothing is more pious than the gift of cows. "There is no gift that produces more blessed merit." Lord Rama was given a dowry of thousands of cows and bullocks when he married Sita

    Dear SP & IGP,
Have you people taken time off and have disposed your duties to Bajrang Dal or any other outfit in Mangalore? Dont you people, government servants have any shame left in you to put an end to this social policing. Or are you still acting as puppets in the hands of politicians? Please remember politicians are elected by us and they in turn dictate terms to you then we might as well dictate terms to you directly. Please put an end to this and be fair in delegating your duties. Do not take Mangaloreans for granted!

Did you have any information telling that this cow was being transported for slaughter? It is becoming very hard and difficult even to sell the cow if the owner is unable to look after?. Are these BD's employed to look out for cows that are transported and label it saying it cow trafficking? BD's give your contact number, so that all those who want to sell their cows can call you and sell for higher price. It would be a good business for you unemployed and illiterate goons.

The driver and the seller of the cow has his right to file a police complaint for destruction of their passage but whether the police will take action on BD goons? We are leading from democracy to demo-crazy. Do you expect the buyer to face this when BD goons approach the vehicle even if he says that the cow is for domestication?
The word ‘illegally trafficking’ itself is wrong because it is only a transportation of cow from one place to another from the seller to the buyer without a intention to slaughter it. The constitution says, you must inform the Taluk office and the local police station before boarding cow in to the transporting vehicle.
Given a situation like this where every BD goon is more powerful than a police then, who will complete the formalities?. This is clear example for failure of law and order where a local goons stops a vehicle that transports a cow for domestic use.
The police commissioner should act immediately and release the tempo and the people involved. The police are not bound to look for the person absconding. I would say he should file law suit against people who stop the vehicle and created threat to his life. The police are responsible for his safety.

    Question to be asked

    1) Was the cow transported only for slaughtering purpose ?
    2) Why did the person who was purchasing the cow escaped ?
(The fear of being slaughtered by the BD)
    3) where were these people when gram panchyat went on a dog-hunting mission and massacred more than 50 stray and domestic dogs ?
    4) Now who will pay the tempo driver or feed his family (if he is working on daily wages) till the tempo is in the police custody ?

why dont you exhibit your concern towards needy people, old and neglected, sick and sad, lonely and suffering? At these times, where are you people?
Why do police still tolerate non sense from these guys, I wonder why cant these outfits be banned?

Millions of people are going hungry in the world and in india without a proper square meal per day and these organisations are not bothered about it. These people are absolutely narrow minded and lack a sense of reasoning, and lack of education. first show respect for human society. Let every person have a dignified life on this earth. When will we have Cops who go by the law book rather than word of mouth

Bajrangi's are fools, uneducated people, going against their own religion.
