Mangalore: 21-year-old Girl Disappears Under Mysterious Circumstances

Daijiworld Media Network – Mangalore (DV)

Mangalore, Oct 5: A 21-year-old girl from Alake here has been missing since September 28.

Nirali Vachanni, daughter of Pradeep Mohan Vachanni of ‘Krishna Kunj’ residence near Alake is the missing girl.

It is learnt that Nirali left from home at around 9.30 am on September 28 to get some information on MBA course. At around 11.10 am, Panambur police called up her father Pradeep and informed him that a car had been found near Tannir Bavi beach and asked him to go to the spot.

The car (KA 19 N 4343) found near Tannir Bavi was the one that Nirali had driven while leaving home earlier in the day. However, there was no trace of Nirali.

A search operation was launched and enquiries were made at several places. Neither the relatives nor Nirali's friends had any clue of her sudden disappearance.

Nirali's father lodged a complaint with the Mangalore east police the same evening. Investigations are on. However, even after a search of almost a week, Nirali has not been found and there has been no development in the case.

Niralli has a wheatish complexion, with a height of 5.4 ft and knows Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada and English.

The efficient police department must find out the mysterious vanishing of this college student where her car was found. Right now nobody can say for sure where the girl must have gone. There are so many reasons. We paray to our Almighty God that everything is OK and Nirali is found safe and sound and reunited with her loved ones.

There must be a reason why Police get involved in a missing girls disappearance within 1-2 hours, some one holds greater information, knowledge on her disappearance. If she left of her own, parents or her friends, brothers, sister may have knowledge. If all this eliminated, this could be a case of kidnap. CID must get involved in this case at the same time, request be sent thru news papers for her safe return with no questions asked on her actions.

there is high probability that she left on her own. Mostly with her secret lover. I think if police interrogate her friends, truth will come out

Its easy to find someone when they are kidnapped or killed. But when one willingly runs with some one, with a good reason, its pretty hard to locate and trace.

Really disturbing news. She left her house at 9.30 AM and Thannirbhavi police informed her parents at 11.10 AM is something which I can't understand. If a car is parked for may be 1.5 hrs at some place how does it prompt the police to call its owner ? Whoever informed the police about this car must be knowing more about the episode.
