There is no legal bar in India for women and men staying together, as it is matter of two consenting adult. Article 21 of the part -III of the Constitution of India, which expressly guaranteed the right to life with dignity, liberty and respect, and court also stressed that the perceived immorality by a few protagonists of morality cannot be branded as offence..\"The major girl is free to marry any one and she can live with any one \",The live-in relationship between two consenting adults does not amount any offence.
How come Police arrested the couple…Is MANGALORE POLICE TAKING ORDERS FROM BD, RS ?

Well said Prasheesh Kumar - Mumbai, We will have to return to those olden days of Mahabharata if the female feoticide continues at this rate in this land of KANSAS. Mahabharatha Kansa killed both male & female babies of Davaki, but present day KALIYUGA Kansas kill only female babies, forgetting that their own mother was a female. Unfortunately well Educated people only do this gory crime.

I think our society turning backwards! People need to know the law.Its official by law that live-in relationship is accepted in our society.I think coming days our dear city will see more violence and turmoil, religious uproar, and hatred among our own Kind!Sure these are the last days and time must be very short. I urge people everywhere to Love one another, forgive others and help each other.Today you will fight and hurt others physically or mentally...but will you be there tomorrow to see the same fate on your family and loves ones? Besides The one Good Lord who is watching from above will make sure that what you have sown, same you shall reap!People please wake up! Please !

I am sure the police dont know the law and also they cannot make their own. I am sure this person may have protected this girl from some Ram Sena bigge who wanted to have an affair with her. These organisations are too dangerous for the society and just like the Naxals they must be debanded.

Rama sena, Bajrangdal and similar other groups are dangerous viruses/parasites to our city, and it has to be eradicated. What kind of culture are they promoting, when they themselves are uncultured.

This "Rama sena" has no other work to do. They are just showing their family problem frustration on the world outside. This just says that they are not satisfied by their life and that's the reason they want to ruin others's life.

This only shows how jobless the " Sri Rama Sene " activists are. They seem to have all the time in the world for unproductive matters. Instead of taking up a job and working from 9am to 5pm they seem to follow couples. This only shows their poor upbringing.

If a couple choose to live in it is up to them and it is not a business of Rama sene or Muthalick. May be Muthalick is frustrated as no one chose to live in with him.
