Dubai, Oct 7: KONKAN YUVA, the youth wing of St Mary’s church, today announced the elected Core Committee for the 8th year. Blasius D’Souza is been elected unanimously as the President of the association.

President elect Blasius D’Souza thanked the members for entrusting the responsibility and helms of affairs to the new team. "I have been with Konkan Yuva since its inception and have seen the association grow organically. For the past several years we are blessed with good leaders who have taken the organization to newer levels. We are very optimist this year and will work harder to take the organization to the next level." he said

 In his speech addressing the members of the association he laid out the goals for the organization for the year which included capitalizing on the past successful activities and seek newer avenues for excellence including regular workshop for members, collaborating and networking with international like minded organizations and to play a key role in Young Adult Ministry at St. Mary’s Church.

The new body also unanimously voted Ex President Godwin Castelino (2006-07) as to be inducted as the Club Mentor.
