Dubai : JP Hegde to be Honoured by NRIs on Nov 9

Dubai, Oct 7 : Karnataka Sangha Dubai, under the leadership of its president Girish Shetty will felicitate Udupi - Chikmagalur MP Jayaprakash Hegde, who has done enormous work as MP within a span of just seven months. His immense contribution towards the benefit of NRIs in general, specially his efforts in grant of international status to Mangalore Airport will be appreciated and recognized during the 'Karnataka Rajyotsava - 2012' celebrations to be held at Indian Academy School, behind Madina Mall Qusais on November 9 at 4 pm.

It may be recalled that J P Hegde has also initiated an emmigration office in Karnataka with a branch office in Mangalore. The official announcement in this regards is awaited.

Girish Shetty, president of Karnataka Sangha speaking to daijiworld said that the felicitation is due for this great leader, as he follows up the progress of any work that he promises, unlike some other politicians who promise several things when they come here, and then completely forget their promise once they go back. "But J P Hegde has done everything possible to realize all that he promised to us during his visit to Dubai in April 2012."

"All associations in the UAE specially those with coastal connection will be invited. This felicitation will be on behalf of the entire NRI community in the UAE, but Karnataka Sangha is taking the lead," he said.

The event will also feature an entertainment programme by a troupe of 15 members from Pushpanjali Nratya Kala Academy (performance of Dashavatara), and dance performances by local talents. Winners of Puravanakara Dance Competition 2012 will also perform.
 
Apart from J P Hegde there will be a couple of surprise celebrities who will attend the event, say the organizers.

The entry for the event will be FREE.

    Great,Karnataka Sangha doing great job bu Honoring JPH.It is a message to all the politicians,people do recognize the good work.Party religion secondary.Stop dividing society ,Use your power ant time for the welfare of the people.I have never seen a MP like JPH.He is going villages to hear and solve peoples problem.The entire region will benefit if all the leaders big and small from all the parties support him.So much is due to us from centre and state goverment.GIVE HIM YOUR DEMANDS AND IDEAS.GUIDE HIM.SUPPORT HIM .HE WILL DO THE RIGHT THINGS SINCERELY.All the best to the NRI Function.

    JP Hegde deserves more. Last 7 months he has worked very hard and made congress proud. When all other MP,s are wasting time doing nothing, he is the only person who really worry for the people. He is a very friendly person. Any one can meet him any time. God bless him.

    We need to highlight the problem faced by NRIs for carrying normal amount of Gold to India. We need to Request JP Hegde to take this matter up and increase the limits to 100 Grams for men and 200 grams for women. I had taken this issue with Nalin Kumar but he is of no use as he do not know to speak Hindi and English.

    As for the people of coastal region, Shri J.P. Hegde is the Loksabha member for both Udupi and Dakshina Kannada constituencies. Needless to say, he is the softspoken, down to earth person, who delivers what he promises.
