KUDROLI TEMPLE GIVES IMMENSE RECOGNISATION TO BILLAVA COMMUNITY. NO DOUBT IT IS CONFINED TO ONE COMMUNITY.BUT ONCE OUT CASTED COMMUNITY BUILT ITS OWN TEMPLE WHICH MATCHES WITH OTHER TEMPLES IN THE WORLD.PEOPLE SHOULD NOT FORGET THAT GSB ALSO BUILT THEIR OWN TEMPLE AND CONFINED WITH ONE COMMUNITY.NOBODY STOPS IF ANYBODY ENTERS KUDROLI TEMPLE NO UNTOUCHABILITY AND PROHIBITING ANY ONE WHO ENTERS THE TEMPLE.

Wishing a Grand success to the Centenary Celebrations
of Kudroli Gokarnanatheshwara Temple which was built in 1912 with the consecration of Shivalinga by Shri Narayana Guru .The Temple was renovated to the modern architectural look and the renovated temple was inaugurated by Rajiv Gandhi in 1990. Precisely ,the first meeting was held on 10.4.1988 at 4.PM at the Registered office of the Billawara Association situated at Mohan Terrace,Mody Street,Fort Mumbai to duscuss the specific agendum of the Temple Renovation and to form a Mumbai Committee to raise fund for the Renovation of the temple. The meeting was attended by abt 36 members under the leadership of Shri Jaya C Suvarna . That meeting was presided by me as the then Vice President of The Billawar Association Mumbai. There after, there were series of meetings held in Goregaon and finally the potential Mumbai Committe was formed to raise fund for the renovation of the Temple. Yes, the Committe succeeded in collecting required funds.( Mr.Jaya C Suvarna, Mr.D.U.Salian. Mr.Y Nagesh and many others may vouch this success.) Rest is the HISTORY,(and POLITICS apart).

I am a frequent visitor of Kudroli temple and it is amazing to see the Sculptures of 'Lord Shiva'in various forms and it is absolutly devine and beautiful to watch. One can see the lavishness everywhere with gold paint donning the walls and sculptures to the temple surroundings. I had my life wish to get married in Kudroli temple itself and my wish fulfilled too,my gratitude to 'Lord Shiva' . I am personally very Happy of any functions in Kudroli and my visit to the temple too.

Kudroli Temple has now become synomous with one community. Increasingly it has also started taking a political leaning especially due to janardhana poojary.

A beautiful temple in fact. I never miss to take my hindu friends to this temple who come from other places.A cool and peaceful atmosphere.A large number of Gujarathi old people sit on meditation. The chariot is the center of attraction. The coastal people should ever remain grateful
to Mr. Janardhan Poojary for all his efforts to renovate and add a feather to the beauty to Kudla.

Ravi Shenava you are absolutely right. Kudroli Gokarnanatha Temple is the most beautiful Temple in DK-Udupi district and no other temple can match this temple in beauty. This is vouched by majority of the Marathi,Gujarati & North Indian people of Mumbai who have visited our coastal districts for sight seeing. There should not be any caste tag for any temple and Vaidika-Minded people should learn to admit the superiority of others.
Daily in the evening large number of Gujarathis are found sitting peacefully in the temple because they say they do not get such a peace of mind in any other temple of Mangalore.

As far as Architecture and Beauty is concerned , no other Temples of Tulunadu can match our Gokarnanatha Temple. Not even famous temples like Kadri, Mangaladevi, Kateel, Udupi, Subrahmanya can match Kudroli Temple in Architectural grandeur. This fact requires proper Publicity in the Media without any Prejudice.
