Kundapur: Native of Bellary Commits Suicide at Hattiangadi

Kundapur, Oct 9: Koti (26), a native of Davangere allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself near Bachina Kodlu, Hattiangadi under Kanyana gram panchayat limits here on Tuesday, October 9.

Koti was the son of Charappa, resident of Mattahalli in Harappana Halli taluk, Davangere.

In 1996, Koti joined Namma Bhoomi training centre and acquired skills of construction work. In 1998 he returned to his hometown.
 
A Hattiangadi resident said that Koti had been staying in Namma Bhoomi for 10 years and also working there. However, the management of Namma Bhoomi denied it.

A case has been registered in Kundapur police station in this regard, as per a complaint lodged by Srinivas Ganiga, administrative officer, CWC, Namma Bhoomi.
