Over 15000 Expected to Witness Udupi Diocese Installation Ceremony

Udupi, Oct 10: Preparations are in full swing for the much awaited historic event of Udupi Diocese installation Ceremony to be held on Monday, October 15 at the Milagres Kallianpur open grounds.

According to sources over 15,000 people including high profile dignitaries  from around coastal region and other parts of India and abroad are expected to witness this historic event.













Udupi District administration have  joined hands with the Organizing committee to make this event successful.

Under the  chairmanship of Udupi MLA Raghupathi Bhat  heading the  Civic and Organization committee lead by Episcopal vicar of Udupi Fr. Baptist Menezes,  a review meeting was held in  preparations for the upcoming event at the Milagres Cathedral office. 

Raghupathi Bhat promised full support from Udupi District administration to make this event successful and a memorable one.

Kumar - Additional Deputy Commissioner of Udupi District, Dr. Boralingiah -
Superintendent of police, Ramachandra Bayari – Udupi District Health Officer, Gokuldas Nayak – Commissioner CMC Udupi, PDW Engineer, Traffic Control Police, other Civic Officers along with  Fr. Stany B Lobo, Parish priest - Milagreas Cathedral Kallianpur and Chairman Organizing committee, members of Various Committees were present on the occasion.

After the review meeting officials visited the venue of the event and inspected the ongoing preparations work. They were accompanied by Fr. Stany B lobo, Dolphy D’Lima and others .

    It is just mind boggling arranging a function of this stature.
    Fr. Stany B. Lobo has to be commended and all those who are also involved to make this event a memorable one.
    Looking at the lighting on the Church facade, it looks so soothing.
    We pray everything goes on well, from beginning till end and wish the Bishop of the New Diocese God Speed, God's Choicest Blessings to Carry out the requirements of this New Diocese
