Bantwal : Confusion Halts Malayalam Documentary Shoot

Bantwal, Oct 10: Locals stopped a Malyalam film crew while shooting a film at Karinja hill here on Tuesday October 9.

As per the information received, the film crew consisted of a few boys and only two girls. The locals suspected them of being indulged in immoral activities. Adding to this, a mini camera was being used. The locals objected the film shoot and even informed Poonjalkatte police.
 
Another source told Daijiworld that the locals who stopped the film shoot were members of Hindu outfits, who suspected the boys and girls to belong to two different communities. It is also learnt that the outfit reached the spot after receiving information that Hindu girls being used by boys of another community in the film and started augments with the crew. The members of outfit had also informed the police in advance.

After thorough investigation, police sources said that they had permission for the film shoot from the concerned officials.

    Well done by stopping them. such activity need to be stopped. Permission may be taken, but who is monitoring activity post permission. Is it to believed on the basis on permission granted that film shooting only going on there?

    Please don't comment without knowing the complete story. May be they saved some innocent lives from being destroyed by evil minded people.

    Very soon Mangalore will have only these Morons calling the shorts, it is apparent that the Khaki Clad Men (basically saffron clad within) take their orders from these hooligans. Who are they to decide as to who should mix with whom ? When the indulge in vice, then there is no caste or creed, anything will do to fullfill their lust. High time this stupidity called Moral Policing is eradicated, if not, Mangalore / SK will soon be returning to the stoneage.

    If there will be shoot in any place.Permission to be taken from Local Police station as done in any other country.
