Kundapur: Two Houses Burgled in Trasi

Kundapur, Oct 12: Burglars broke into two houses in Trasi, opposite to Trasi Church, here on Thursday October 11 night.

The first incident took place at the residence of Leo Lobo, who resides in America with his family. Leo Lobo would visit India once in every six months. Nothing was stolen from Lobo’s house. Only the cupboards doors were left open.

In another incident, thieves broke into the house belonging Antony and Wilma Almeida, residing in Dubai, and fled with Rs 4,000 cash. Cupboards doors were left open.

Burglars had gained entry into the houses by breaking open the doors.

Robert Damleida, brother of Antony and cousin of Leo Lobo, was the caretaker of both the houses.

A case has been registered in Gangolli police station.
