Kundapur: Two Sustain Serious Injuries in Bike-Auto Rickshaw Collision

Kundapur, Oct 13: Two persons sustained serious injuries when their bike collided head-on with an auto rickshaw at a raiway bridge near Hattiangadi cross here on Saturday October 13.

The injured have been identified as Satish Sherigar (43), a resident Moodlukatte and Rafeeq, a resident of Kodi. Satish was riding the bike.

The two were moving from Kundapur to Gulvadi when the accident took place.

The auto rickshaw driver, identified as Basava, a resident of Gulvadi, was ferrying passengers towards Kundapur.

The impact of the accident was such that both Satish and Rafeeq were thrown off the bike. Satish sustained injuried on his face, arms and legs, while Rafeeq was injured on his chest and head. They have been admitted to Chinmayi Hospital in Kundapur.

Kundapur police have registered a case.
