Entire road from Moodbidri to Iruvail is very narrow and 'U' pin curves.Iruvail village is totally very backword in infrastructure due to the negligience by the government. At least our MLA Abhaya Chandra Jain should take initiative regarding this

I wish speedy recovery of the children, God saved them. Proper boundary must be built with iron pillars. Now the houses near road require very thick wall and also iron bars to protect from such incidents. How a driver can loose control? May drunk. Such drivers should be educated well, next time licence must be cancelled.

The situation of house is a invitation to slam for motorists!Safety wall is very weak and thank god no untoward incident. As far as DK/Udupi road concerned, monsoon and poor maintenance has to be blamed.I think due to overweight of cargo and coupled with curve road reason for this accident. PWD,and concerned authorities need to look in to the matter to build strong safety wall ASAP.

@ Mr. Jossey, By seeing first pic, you cant judge the roads in Karnataka. Have you gone through Manjeshwar - Kasaragod road? Have you travelled to Andra Pradesh/TN/Haryana? I have travelled all these areas including where you live in Mumbai. I have seen the roads in all these places how good it is? My dear, its everywhere in India.

If you ply on Moodabidri Roads there are some dangerous spots where only one vehicle can move at a time. We should parade our politicians on express busses in these routes to feel how common man suffers...

formula 1 race happen daily on mangalore roads. the race is between buses and lorries. no speed limit nor any disciplined driving. no following traffic rules. and 2 wheeler riders are made to wear helmets when all the speed limits are broken by heavy vehicles. put severe fines for those who break the rules and then youll see the change in driving which will be disciplined and peaceful. auto rickshaws drive left and right even an inch they will try and sneak through. theyve to be controlled as well.

If roadside houses are not safe, with not enough roads, how safe can be the two wheelers and walking people (with no foot-paths) on roads?
