Kundapur, Oct 17: “Our social life should be like a lamp which gives light to others. Only then our life will be fulfilled and we will surely be recognized in the society for our services”, said U Shankar Salian, Udupi district president of Pariyala Social Reformers’ Association while inaugurating Pariyala Samaja taluk sub-committee at Ragavendra Kalyan Mantapa, near Kundeshwara temple in Kundapur.

“But presently, the quantum of people working for the betterment of the society has decreased”, he lamented.

Kundapur Pariyala Social reformers’ association taluk president Sujay Suvarna, presided over the function.

Udupi district Pariyala Social reformers’ association treasurer Sadhashiva Bangera presented the key note address.

Ramamurthy Mayya, district administrator of Late Devarajja Arasu backward class development board, Sanjeev Bangera Marnemikatte, Dakshina Kannada district Pariyala Social reformers’ association president, Shekar Salian, Pariyala Social reformers’ association district past minister, Mahesh Suvarna, Pariyala Social reformers’ association, Santhosh Salian Basroor, taluk secretary treasurer and all members of the association were present during the occasion .

Reshma Udaya Suvarna welcomed the gathering. Chandrashekar Beejadi thanked the guests.

    A single lamp light gives brightness to a certain area, in the dark night.
    Implementation of a good idea helps to light several lamps.
    Several lighted lamps can eradicate the darkness of the whole society.
