Bangalore: Konkani Catholic Welfare Association Organizes ‘Yuvachinthan’

Bangalore, Oct 18: The Konkani Catholic Welfare Association R T Nagar, Bangalore, organized “YUVACHINTHAN”a seminar cum workshop on “Leadership Development” at Gulabi High School Auditorium, Bangalore on Sunday the October 14 , exclusively for the youth. 

It was an interactive session, with added value and enriched every participant.

The event was inaugurated by chief guest, Aida D’Cunha, chairperson of Federation of Konkani Catholic Associations (FKCA) Bangalore in the presence of guests of honour Dr Ramesh Kamath, former director of prestigious Jawaharlal Nehru planetarium, Fr Praveen Pinto, Maxim Misquith, president of Konkani Community language and traditions family(KCLT), Ronald Mendonca, member of KCLT and the program coordinator.

In his message, Dr Ramesh Kamath, encouraged the youth to develop leadership skills, inculcate values and serve the society.

He advised them that one should not be selfish instead, should contribute whatever being acquired, such as knowledge, powers, wealth, etc. to ploughback to the society.

In the beginning, Edward D’Souza, president of KCWA (RT Nagar), extended hearty welcome to all the guests on dais and the participants. In his message he said that it is one of its own kinds of event being organized by KCWA in association with Konkani Community language and traditions family.

The program “leadership development” was coordinated by Ronald Mendonca.

The program was well attended by youth participants in large numbers. During the program he conducted various dynamic activities.

The feedback was overwhelming and participants wanted to have many more such programs in the future.

    Good start of 'YUVACHINTHAN-2012' by KCWA-RT Nagar KCLT. All of us do not have equal talents but all of us should have equal opportunity to develop our talents. Conduct some more programs for the youths. THUMPS UP KCWA
