Karkala, Oct 19: Vidya (18) from Kukkundoor, who had been missing since October 15, returned home on Thursday October 18, with a husband.
Sources said that the girl had an affair with her neighbour Shivakumar and hence both of them ran away from the house and got married in Chamundeshwari temple near Kota.
The couple, on hearing that their disappearance had been reported in the media, surrendered in the police station.
Sources close to the couple said that both families have accepted their marriage and welcomed them home.
