Mangalore: Man Arrested for Selling Ganja

Mangalore, Oct 20: Police arrested a drug peddler selling Ganja near Uppina Dhakke in Bunder, here, on Friday October 19.

The arrested has been identified as Sharavan (39), a native of Tamil Nadu.

The police seized 500 grams of Ganja valued at around Rs 15,000.

It is learnt that the accused used to sell Ganja to labourers, students, of which the police had prior information and caught him red-handed.

The accused was produced before the court and has been sent to judicial custody for 15 days.

Police officials Anand, Lokesh, Vijay K, Mahabala Nayak led by Y Gangireddy, circle inspector were part of the investigation.

THIS GANJA AND DRUG MENACE IS DESTROYING OUR YOUTH AND CREATES A SOCIAL HARM AS WELL AS DESTROYS FAMILIES.THE LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCIES AND THESE SO CALLED MORAL POLICE SHOULD HELP IN TRACKING DOWN THESE DRUG DEALERS AND THEIR KING PIN AND TRY TO PUT A STOP TO THIS EVIL MENACE.AT THE SAME TIME PARENTS SHOULD SPEND QUALITY TIME WITH THEIR CHILDREN AND WATCH THEM CLOSELY GUIDE THEM ADVICE THEM COUNCIL THEM AND BE A MODEL FOR THEM BY THEIR OWN SELF DISCIPLINED WAY OF LIFE.THERE IS MORE RESPONSIBILITY FOR PARENTS OR ELSE THIS EVIL WILL GROW UNCHECKED UNTIL IT BECOMES A DRAGON.PARENTS WATCH OUT AND BEWARE AND BE AWARE

In udupi lots of youngster's life gone for toss b'coz of ganjja & other things, police must go into the detail & should find base of this mafia, also they should catch all the ganjja sellers in DK & Ududpi taluk so some youngsters life can be saved.
