Light Drizzle Cheers Agra

Agra, Oct 23 (IANS): A light drizzle early Tuesday brought cheer to Dussehra festivities in this Taj city although Ram Lila organisers looked a bit concerned.

"I am afraid if there is a downpour, Ravana will have the last laugh. The effigy will take too long to burn or get spoiled," a Ramlila organiser told IANS.

Durga Puja celebrations too have reached the climax.

The Taj city has received around 850 mm of rainfall against its annual average of 650 mm. The sky remained overcast Tuesday.
