Nine Held for Gang-rape of Bangalore Bartenders

Nine Held for Gang-rape of Bangalore Bartenders

Bangalore, Oct 23 (IANS): Nine suspects, including a woman, were arrested Tuesday for the alleged gang-rape of three bartenders in their rented house at Kengari near Bidadi on the city's outskirts in the early hours of Oct 19, a police official said.

"We came to know about the eight of the accused during the course of investigation, as a neighbour of the victims hinted seeing two of them in the area who were petty criminals," Ramanagaram Superintendent of Police Anupam Agarwal told IANS here.

The shocking incident came to light when the victims lodged a complaint with local police station against the suspects who also abducted five of their colleagues soon after the crime and escaped in a van towards Bidadi, about 30km from Bangalore.

"During preliminary interrogation, the suspects confessed to the crime and provided enough clues to book them. We will seek their custody for further investigation," Agarwal noted.

The gang, however, let off the five bartenders later after they resisted a rape attempt and threatened to alert police.

"As the gang was familiar with the victims' movements, including the casino bar in the city they were employed, mode of transport and where they were residing, the suspects barged into their house after Thursday midnight and sexually abused three of them," Agarwal said.

According to the complaint, the suspects also ransacked the victims' house and took away their valuables, including jewellery, cash and mobile handsets.

"The woman suspect was arrested as she provided information about the victims to the accused and abetted in the crime by conspiring with one of them," Agarwal pointed out.

A case was registered against the accused under sections 363, 376 and 395 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and a five-member team was formed to investigate it and nab the culprits as they were all locals from the neighbouring district.

@jacob nelson bejai and vivek udupi. Please be understood that different countries have variable age of consent and minimum age of marriage. If what u trying to mention is true , half husbands of brunei and yemen will be castracted , as there is no minimum age for marriage. Most of the brides are underaged. Castration is barbaric , inhuman and mostly doctrined by feminists and feminazis . Question is , why there is no castration for female paedophile or male child offenders?!. The above case is still under investigation , court needs proofs. Victims can also file cross complain , if they r been fframed. Have u heard about fake campus rape incident in rajastan . Media did'nt highlight it , there were male victims who r been framed in that incident.

Our Police are sit-scared to show high time ciminals faces to public becasue they know once they get bailed-out they will teach them good lesson.
Where they cover face when they caought small culprits in small cities, many time we have seen and recently in Dharmastala "accused Santhosh Rao from Bajagoli"where his face covered? Where Nithyananda Swamis face covered?Where recently one men entered Womens Hostel where his face covered?

Our police act on case to case basis.

In other word kalakke takka kola!!

    @Vivek, Udupi AGREE!!!!
    Below:
    Quote:
South Korea will chemically castrate a repeat sex offender who raped children in the country's first use of a recently implemented law.

The Justice Ministry's Forensic Psychiatry Deliberation Committee had unanimously adopted the measure after concluding that the rapist, known by the surname Park, already determined a pedophile, was highly likely to prey on children again, the Wall Street Journal reported.

Park, 44, was due to be released from prison in July after serving a 10-year sentence for the attempted rape of a 10-year-old girl.

According to the ministry, he molested and raped four girls age 9 to 10 between 1984 and 2002. He had been frequently in and out of prison in that time, and in 1991 kidnapped and repeatedly raped a 9-year-old girl over four days.

Chemical castration, already in use in Germany, Sweden, and some US states, prescribes hormone suppressants to suppress the libido of serial rapists by reducing the production of male testosterone.

whenever Police apprehend any culprits and show them in public domain, they cover culprits faces and show their pictures.
May be these same goons are involved in other atrocities and may be some people have noticed them. Showing their faces and their names may help people to recognise them and inform police their knowledge of the culprits.
Who knows who they are with faces masked!!!!! May be dummy culprits.

    Well Done Police Dept.

    1) Police must investigate not only rape but also their Background also. I am sure they are involved many crimes.

    2) All Criminals family photo should be published in the media so, parents then parents will close watch their children.

    3) Dear Court pls. doesn’t give any bail - don’t give any chance to apply for upper court.

All culprits should be removed their eyes and give it to blind people who is waiting to see sun and moon in their life.

Because these criminals misused their eyes.

Most of the Bar Tenders do their extra business by luring customers in day time or late night. If they forced to do business with unwanted or without proper fees with Customers will be termed as “Rape”, So, in Country like India, only women or girls are not raped, in fact our Legal System is “Raped” in systematic way too
