Whenever there is a fire the first suspecion is SHORT CIRCUIT......which may not always be true......it could also be that one of the batteries in mobile phone being charged exploded, it could be that a high voltage jolt may have burnt out one of the equipment (eg: Stabilizer transformer, computer UPS etc. etc.)

Layman perhaps knows only one word which brings all these causes under one umbrella and will say "Avu wire Short circuit athini ye ancha thu pathini thojundu"

it is sad to hear and see such an incident taken place... but i suggest everyone to have some kind of security in buildings, shops or any closed place, as in use of smoke alarm or detectors, burglar alarm, anything to protect your property.... i may sound little practical and know it might be expensive too but its better to have some kind of protection....
