'My wife is priceless': Tharoor Hits Back at Modi

New Delhi, Oct 30 (IBNS): Newly appointed Minister of State for Human Resources Development Shashi Tharoor on Tuesday gave a strong reply to Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi for making comments against his wife Sunanda Pushkar and said 'she is priceless'.

"My wife is a lot more than your imaginary Rs 50 crore. She is priceless. But you need to be able to love someone to understand that," Tharoor tweeted.

Modi on Monday taunted Tharoor on the Indian Premier League (IPL) controversy in 2010 that involved him and his wife Sunanda.

"What a girlfriend. Have you ever seen a 50-crore girlfriend," Modi said while addressing a rally in poll-bound Himachal Pradesh.

"There was a Congress leader who was a minister. He was accused of amassing wealth from cricket. He had said in Parliament that he is not connected to the Rs. 50 crore in the lady's name," Modi said.

"Then girlfriend becomes wife. The issues are still not settled and he is now made a minister," the BJP leader said.

The IPL controversy had forced Tharoor to resign as Minister of State for External Affairs.

Tharoor made a comeback into the United Progressive Alliance (UPA) Cabinet as an Minister of State for Human Resources Development after Sunday's reshuffle.

Mr. Narendra Modi is building castles on the air and dreaming in the day time for power. Secondly, when he lost his wife he lost his life.

THE PROVERB SAYS LIFE WITHOUT WIFE IS A KITCHEN WITHOUT KNIFE.

Mr. Modi has no wife but he has only a knife in his pocket for butchery.

Modi once again proved that he is not fit to become PM of India. He should restrict himself to state politics. Modi is not accepted by JD(U) which is one of the constituents of NDA. Hence Modi is resorting to all these cheap gimmicks and civilized Indian's are not fools to believe him.

Modi is the biggest liar. He indulges in gutter politics not even street politics with his personal attacks on his political opponents. And he has been projected by RSS as next Prime Minister. There are people of his cult to appreciate his filthy utterances. Simple question- ‘why there is no Lokayukta in Gujjarat for the last 11 years?’ The so called progress is nothing but propaganda. Water from much hyped Sardar Sarovar Project has not reached the dry region of Kutch-Saurashtra even after 10 years !

If you really think "wives" are priceless you would not have divorced your first two wives. You would have paid more than 50 crores to get the third wife. In fact you are the third husband for your third wife Sunanda.

You are given HUMAN RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT ministry. I can think of what you will be doing.

People who live in a glass house should not throw stones at others' house.

Does Modi have a word about his wife whom he has deserted ? In India people Hero-worship political leaders without knowing their family background.
