Mangalore : 6-year-old Poorvi Rao in 'Dhee Juniors' Finals

Mangalore, Oct 31: Poorvi K Rao is in the finals of “Dhee Juniors”, a dance reality show by E-TV Kannada. She is the lonely contestant from Mangalore to reach the finals. The programme can be viewed every Saturday and Sunday at 9 pm on E-TV Kannada.

Kuniyona Bara fame Suraj Sanil, a lecturer in Basent Womens’ college, is her Dance choreographer who is running a dance class in the name of Cool Friends Dance Academy which has won more than 75 state level prizes and over 100 district level prizes.




A JCI Princesses for the year 2010, Poorvi K Rao is studying in 2nd Standard in Mount Carmel English Medium School, Mangalore. She has won more than 150 individual prizes for dancing, singing & fancy dress competition in and around Mangalore. She has also bagged the “NRITYANJALI” award from MMCA and Young achiever award from Lions international, Mangalore. Mangalore Productivity Council, Samatha Balaga, Mangalore, Shastri Pratistana, Kulai have recognized her and honored her for her achievements in the past.

She is a Model for the products of Costume Cottage, Urva Mangalore. She is anchoring live programme called “Putani Batani” in Sahaya TV

She is the daughter of Mr. Kumaraswamy and Asha Kumaraswamy.
