Dear daiji readers, in my earlier comment I had asked whether there is a official homepage for our Mangalore airport. I had asked this with the only intention of benifit for the readers / airport users. It was strange to see "agree" / "disagree" to this comment. Can daiji can publish the airport's official web page for the benifit of all?

Immediate and basic Task to newly assigned Director of Mangalore international Airport,Mr J.T RadhaKrishna may as below...

1)Runway expansion to highest level as to land jumbos without any problem

2)Roads leading to Airport either upgraded or made two lanes @least

3)Basic services/projects like,Medical, hospitality, transport and other allied facilities must be provided with state-of - art, equivalent to any other leading Airports of the world.

4)People friendly day to day operations in Airport and for this effect all staffs should be trained.

5)Any job which comes under Director's preview need to be prefered son of soil.

6)Most importantly, SAUDI sector operations of AIR INDIA and other private Airlines need to be given priority as other GCC countries are linked by Private Airlines.

    6) Parking place must be modernised with reasonable fees.

Due to new tag of (International Airport),Central Govt/State Govts might provide enough projects which should be implemented with record time and in this effect special CELL/Liaison office could be constituted.

Congratulations to you sir. As a first phase of development please think of removing all corrupt customs officials who harrase us. Also record all movements of these officials as presently their bribe collection center is not under the CCTV scan which makes them easy to take bribe.
