Amazing news! Honestly , I wish more muslim brethren focussed their energies on literature, culture and what the motherland has offered them and their ancestors through the years. Striving for positive societal recognition and being role models for future generations to emulate , would be nice for a change. I have some great muslim friends who do not indulge in pouring their religious views on unwilling recipients but are secularistic in their approach and deeds. They love the land they have grown up in and are true citizens of the land. Unfortunately a few bad fish have polluted the pond. We are Indians first and then belong to different castes and religious backgrounds. Just thought of pouring my heart out in this column. My congratulations to Beary Academy and the deserving winners. Jai Hindustan.
