Mangalore: Talents Aplenty as 'Prathibha 2012' Draws to an Entertaining End

Mangalore, Nov 4: The grand finale of 'Prathiba 2012', the corporate talent hunt hosted by  Manipal Ace was held on Saturday November 3 at T V Raman Pai convention hall here.

A plethora of talents from various corporate fields around the city enthusiatically took part in the event. A festive atmosphere enveloped the auditorium as contestants displayed their amazing skills and won rousing applause from the audience.

Apart from the competitions, Comedy Hungama, live performance by celebrity comedian Srikanth Maski from Mumbai sent the crowd into peals of laughter.

The competitions were held in three categories - group dance, solo dance and singing, apart from special talents.

The judges for the singing competation were singers Yashanth Bhakta, Ravindra Prabhu and Dr Kumble Ananth Prabhu. Dance competition was judged by Pranesh Bolar, Pramod Alva and Mythri Malli, all well-known dancers from different dance troupes, while the special talents were judged by Srikanth Maski and Kumble Narasimha Prabhu.

The first place in the group dance event was bagged by Sidhushree's team from Infosys and the second place by Supriya's group from Invengers.

In singing Ankur Ssharma of Infosys stood first, while Nayana Rajgopal, KMC Attavar came second and Amit Tomer of Infosys bagged the third spot.

In solo danceSwathi J of KMC Attavar secured the first place, Akshith Shetty, MCC came second.

Prasad Gadgi of Abbott Pharmaceuticals won the top honours in special talents category, followed by Sudarshan Acharya of Honda Matrix in second place.

The programme was compered by R J Vishwas of BIG 92.7 FM.
