Dubai: Sadananda Gowda to Attend Kannada Koota Rajyotsava Event

Dubai, Nov 4: Kannada Koota UAE in association with Kannada Sanskrathika Elake, Bangalore will be hosting 57th Kannada Rajyotsava Day celebration at Sheikh Rashid Auditorium, The Indian High School, Oud Mehta Road, Karama on Thursday November 8, 7.30 pm onwards.

Sadananda Gowda, former chief minister of Karnataka will be the chief guest along with Sri Sri Sri Nanjavadootha Mahaswameeji, Peethadhyaksharu Gurugunda Bhrameshwaramatha, Sira, Tumkur who will be the guest.

There will be musical programme by Shiva Kumar and Archana Ravi and the programme will be anchored by Vidya Shivakumar.

The special attraction of the day will be ace ventriloquist-magician Indushree Ravindran who will captivate the minds of the audience with her spellbinding ventriloquism together with her skillful hand movements.  Indushree is arguably the best in the world and has recorded more than 3,000 hours of shows. She is the first Indian girl to perform double dummy and tripple dummy act, first Indian to give live TV shows, first Indian girl to perform Burnt Alive Act in India successfully and record her name in Limca and Guiness Book of World Records.

The cultural programme will be presented by Kalaashri Dance and Musical Institute and Kannada Koota UAE jointly.

A special felicitation programme will be held honouring Girish H N, silver medalist in the recent Paralympics Games 2012, London.

    Chief Guest Sadananda Gowda? Why? This man has not guts to question why he was ousted from CM's position just to satisfy Yediyurappa's demands. Such a coward should not be invited as a chief guest. Instead, it is better to a person who cares for the people like Dharmasthala Dharmadhikari Sri Virendra Heggadayjee. Most of the politicians are good for making money and shed crocodile tears.

    It seems the trend we copied from Keralities who regularly invites thier famous film actors to thier cultural programme. It is a healthy sign to see our politicians visit other countries were they can see the good developments people and thier living standard, not that of giving false promise of our politicians on each elections.
