Riyadh, Nov 5 (IANS): A new case of coronavirus infection has been detected in Saudi Arabia after two people have succumbed to the disease recently.
The infected patient was cured after receiving treatment at a Riyadh hospital, Xinhua quoted the official Saudi news agency as saying.
Two other Saudis died after falling ill with the disease, while a critically ill Qatari national was referred to London from Saudi Arabia for treatment.
Coronaviruses primarily infect the upper respiratory and gastrointestinal tract.
Earlier, Health Minister Abdullah Al Rabeah had said that the spread of coronavirus infection in the country was limited.
