Dubai, Nov 6: Konkan Bells representatives and the teams participating in the Konkan Bells sports event assembled at Winny’s Restaurant, Karama recently to pick up lots for the team matches scheduled to be held on November 9.
The programme began with short prayer and the sports secretary welcomed all the team representatives. Sudhakar Alva and Melwyn were present to co-ordinate with Konkan Bells event organisers.
Noel Almeida explained the purpose of this event. He requested all the captains and team representatives to be co-operative and play it in a sportive manner. All the players and team members should have valid residency visa. They must have the copy of the valid ID card which confirms that they are residents of UAE. If any discrepancy found within the playing teams then should immediately notify to event organisers.
In the presence of Sudhakar Alva, Melwyn and other core members lots were picked by all team representatives. Team details were displayed on the board and all the doubts and rules of volleyball, throwball and kabaddi were clarified.
