Kuwait, Nov 7: The Kuwait chapter of the St Aloysius College Alumni Association ‘SACAA Kuwait’ will organize ‘Rendezvous 2012 ‘, hallmark fund raising event on Thursday December 6 at the splendid ballroom Asia Asia Restaurant, Souk Al Watiya, Kuwait City from 8.30 pm onwards.
SACAA KUWAIT has been in existence for the last six years and has rendered yeomen service to the Alma Mater and underprivileged students back in Mangalore, India. Through Rendezvous-2012, SACAA-Kuwait intends to help generate funds to support the students who are not financially capable or academically inclined to pursue higher education that can help develop a stable future. SACAA Kuwait calls upon all Aloysians, their families and also likeminded people to join this noble cause and help make life a little better for those needy students back home.
Having achieved unprecedented success in previous years, SACAA Kuwait invites everyone to an evening filled with fun, laughter, music, games, attractive prizes and surprises and a delectable spread. The event will rock with great music from Party Rockers – DJ Kiran Sunny in the house and will be compered by Merwyn Pereira.
Additional highlight of the evening will be a dress-up competition for the kids under the theme ‘Symbols of Christmas’ to be conducted at 9pm.
For toddlers of age 1, 2 and 3 the judging criteria will be creativity in terms of costume and presentation. For the age groups 4, 5 and 6 they will be judged for the costume, stage presence (confidence) and they would have to say a line or two. The criteria for the last category for age group 7, 8 and 9 will be the same as above. However with this category they would have to either sing a para from a carol or recite a few lines (relevant to the Christmas symbol they are portraying). Last date for entry is November 29, 2012.
